Application Fee: $50
Tuition: $2,995.00 ($877.50 non-refundable if student withdraws from the course. The Refund Policy can be found in the syllabus linked further down on thispage.)
Admissions Process
1. Apply using the link above by the application close date (February 19, 2026).
2. Request a copy of your official transcript, showing that you completed an undergraduate Pharmacology course with a final grade of “C” or higher, to be sent to ֱ through Parchment or Clearinghouse. (Listed as an institutional credit, not transfer)
3. Submit a personal statement (optional).
4. Pay the $50 application fee.
Upon completion of the steps above, applicants will be notified that the application process is complete.
The application will close on February 19th. All applications completed before that date will besubmittedto the Admissions Committee for review. Please allow several weeks for application review and notifications. After reviewing applications for all eligible applicants, the Admissions Committee will offer 75 applicants a spot in the course. Upon notification, applicants will have 72 hours to accept their spot in the class by submitting their course payment.
If an applicant does not pay for the course within72 hoursof this notification, their spot will be offered to another applicant.
Applicants who are not offered a spot in the course will receive an email notification.

Unofficial transcripts cannot be accepted, and official transcripts must besubmitteddirectly from the school where you completed the course.
If you are applying for this course and the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) program, please note that transcripts for the DNAP application must be sent directly toNursingCAS. Any transcripts that you request to be sent directly to the Admissions Office will not be applied to your DNAP application.
Course Description
This course offers an in-depth exploration of pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacokinetics, & pharmacodynamics specifically designed for advanced practice nurses. The goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of drug therapy principles and their clinical applications. Students will understand the therapeutic uses of various drug classes and develop skills to manage and optimize patient care through effective pharmacotherapy. This course will focus on preparing students with the advanced pharmacological knowledge needed to be a safe, effective provider.

No, this class is completely online.

No, this class does not guaranteeadmission,but it does help strengthen your application here at ֱ should you choose to apply to the DNAP-PD program after completing the course.We cannot speak to the policies of other CRNA programs.
Can I apply to both Advanced Pharmacology for Advanced Practice Nursing AND Advanced Physiologic Foundations?
Yes, you may apply to both courses,but you cannot take them at the same time.

Applicants interested in applying to both courses must submit a different application than applicants applying to just one course. The link for this application will be posted at the top of this page when it is open. Applicants applying to both courses are required to pay a $50 application fee for each course ($100 total). Applicants are asked to identify which course is their first choice on the application if applying to both. Once you select your first choice and submit your application, we will not be able to make changes, so please choose wisely.
I see that Advanced Pharmacology for Advanced Practice Nursing isa courserequiredin semester one of the DNAP Practice Doctorateprogram. If I take this course and am accepted into ֱ’s DNAP PDprogram, do I have to retake the course during semester one?
